What it does
You log a shift by scanning your checkout slip or typing it in. Tipmik keeps cash and card tips, tip outs and tip ins, sales, hours and wages for each job, and shows what you took home, per shift and per hour. Goals, history from other apps and optional tax tools build on the same record.
Tipmik is for iPhone only.
How it's paid for
By subscriptions. There is no free tier: after the 3-day free trial, Tipmik is $19.99 a year or $4.99 a month, through the App Store. There are no ads in the app.
Your data
Your shifts sync with your Tipmik account so they're there on a new phone. The Privacy Policy says it plainly: “We do not sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for advertising.” The app contains no advertising SDKs.
- Checkout photos you don't save are deleted within about a day. A photo you save stays with its shift and is deleted with it.
- Usage analytics never include amounts, names, notes or slip contents, and you can turn them off in More.
- Deleting your account deletes your shifts, jobs and goals for good.
